GW : What is the scope of your products in Asia and what is the message and strategy?
A : The first message is to make simple our technology, because, we realize that the end user is not all that well versed with complex tools. So we want to keep most operations easy to operate, of course, without affective performance in any way.
We are also paying attention to the fact that it should be safer to the user mainly from the virus attacks. When you use one automatic cutter you have to use one PC, if there is virus in the system it can affect the whole production so we are taking care to protect the system from such malfunction and making it safe for the user.
We are making it fool-proof from any external factors as well as from problems arising out of improper use of the machine. It is programmed to work like a classical mechanical CNC machine - more safe and more simple.

A : We adopt the same policies and strategies which has helped IMA become successful in the world. First thing is to create a very good technical team locally with the cooperation of our agent. This we do by giving in-depth training to the local team and tell them how to solve each problem faced by the customer. We are machinery manufacturers so our approach is technical and oriented from the machine.
GW : What is your view on the potential of Bangaldesh as a market for your products?
A : I am not that aware of the Bangladesh, but I understand it is a very potential market for at least next 10 years as the orders are shifting from various countries into Bangaldesh. It is showing signs of matured market. Combined with knowledge and experience they are growing fast.
GW : What is your advise to those who want to go for high value and high productivity?
A : Technology can enable you to make products of consistent quality standard. One of problems faced is to have uniform quality in the same batch.
End users are also not that well educated so the technology has to be easy to use. Buyers are looking for consistency in quality hence they are also pushing for automation with the suppliers.
